Professional Services Engineer

Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information .

Responsibilities:

Coordinate implementation of computer system plan with establishment personnel and outside vendors.
Train users and promote security awareness to ensure system security and to improve server and network efficiency.
Develop plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs.
Encrypt data transmissions and erect firewalls to conceal confidential information as it is being transmitted and to keep out tainted digital transfers.
Document computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests.
Confer with users to discuss issues such as computer data access needs, security violations, and programming changes.
Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures.

Experience:

4-6 years of industry experience in Technical Support , Professional Services or Engineering.
Strong experience with mail servers (MS Exchange, SendMail, Lotus Notes) and mail flow.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering Desired but not required
Strong trouble shooting skills in related technologies
PGP product experience is highly desirable
Configuration, installation and admin of Windows environment.
Sendmail experience is desirable
Cisco PIX firewall experience is desirable

Technical Engineer

Candidate will be responsible for maintaining client IT infrastructure as well as advising them of their IT strategy. Candidate will work closely with the clients to provide solutions that improve our client’s efficiency. Candidate will also be part of the research and development team to develop new solutions for our clients. Local candidates preferred. Travel if necessary.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for key customer accounts and for understanding their network configurations and deploying security software products.
Interacting with external customers, also working with R&D on testing new product releases and other security related technologies.
Developing knowledge base articles and/or training materials, in addition to proactively providing information and services that would result in increased customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and minimum of 2 years experience in the IT industry. Technical certifications and MCSE (Win2k+), A+ and CCNA a plus. Must possess proven technical skills listed below.

Technical Skills Set required:

Strong Windows administration experience with 2+ years – Win2k/Win2k3 Servers.
Strong understanding of networking services including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, Addressing.
Understanding of backup solutions including CA Brightstor, Backup Exec, V2i, D2D2T backup.
3+ Years Experience with either Dell, HP, or IBM servers.
Must be proficient with all Microsoft OS (DOS, Win9x, ME, Win2k, XP)

Sales Engineer

Candidate will have a mix of experience working for/with large companies as well as a small business in the past. A successful track record listening to a client’s needs, readily understanding their business requirements, and conceptualizing robust solutions is also desired.

Responsibilities:

Develop relationships with the customer’s technical organization and maintain a high degree of satisfaction with our solutions.

Qualifications:

BS/CS or equivalent required

We are looking for a Purchasing Representative to join our IT team. We are an IT Solutions Provider based in the South Bay for over 13 years. We sell, service, and maintain IT Products (computers, servers and other networking products) to a wide range of corporate, education & state government customers.

Position Description:

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, computer savvy and should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Candidate will handle ordering, dealing with vendors & suppliers, and creating purchase orders. Candidate will also need to have high standards of customer service and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain vendor relations.
Secure quotations and place orders with vendors.
Shop for good deals and negotiate prices with existing vendors.
Communicate company needs to outside vendors and maintain status reports.
Create internal purchase orders and assist with the administration of purchase orders to maintain on-time deliveries.
Track orders and follow-up to eliminate backorders and out of stock items and ensure materials meet deadline requirements.
